When you call(417) 510-5518, we ask a handful of questions before we ever talk numbers. We want the door's width and height if you know them, whether it's a single or double, what it's made of, and what it's actually doing wrong, won't open, opens crooked, makes a bang, opener runs but the door doesn't move. A photo helps more than a description; if you can snap one of the track, the springs, and the panel that's damaged, send it.
We also confirm the address, because service response and part availability shift depending on where you sit relative to Branson. Most of the work we quote is inside the 13 named areas around town, Hollister, Indian Point, Kirbyville, Kimberling City, Branson West, Merriam Woods, Reeds Spring, Forsyth, Saddlebrooke, Galena, Taneyville, Shell Knob, and Spokane, running from 3 miles out to 17.
Once we have the door details and the address, we can give you a real number for the common jobs: broken spring, cable off the drum, opener not responding, roller replacement. Anything involving a bent track, a cracked panel section, or an opener we haven't seen has to wait for someone to look at it in person.
Plain Answers
Some jobs price over the phone. A torsion spring snap on a standard double door is one of them, we know the parts, we know the labor, and we can quote it once we know the door's size. Same with a broken cable, a burnt-out opener motor, or worn rollers.
Other jobs don't price until someone's standing in front of the door. A track that's bent from a car backing into it can look like a five-minute fix or a full track replacement depending on how far the bend runs and whether the header bracket moved with it. A panel that's caved in might be a single-section swap or it might mean the whole door is out of square now and replacement makes more sense than repair. We won't guess at that over the phone, and we won't quote it low just to get the job and then change the number once we're there.
With housing in the service area built mostly between 1963 and 2010, a lot of it from the 1980s and 90s, we run into a fair number of original doors on hardware that's been out of production for years. If your door falls in that range, tell us; it changes what we bring on the truck.
Who You Are Dealing With
We work on garage doors and openers, springs, cables, tracks, rollers, panels, and the motor units that run them. We don't build additions, pour concrete, or do general handyman work, and if a job turns out to be more carpentry than door repair, we'll say so rather than take it on.

My house is from the 90s and the door still has the original hardware. Does that matter?
It can. A lot of the housing in this area went up in the 1980s and 90s, and original torsion hardware from that era isn't always something we can source off the shelf. Mention the age of the house when you call so we can plan for it before we show up.
